In the beginning...Top Ten Shootout

Does anyone remenber how this fastest street car shootout thing started? We were there... at Memphis in 1992 at the Hot Rod Magazine Top 10 shootout. There wasn't much prize money, but the winners got some really cool embroidered jackets! Powerhouse has this event covered in out Musclecars Plus program.
